pilgrim Posted November 28, 2001 Share Posted November 28, 2001 Hi, all. I just finished a PBEM, and my opponent is now suggesting an "Armor Heavy" battle. We both can only handle "Medium" sized battles and lower. I browsed over at the Scenario Depot (3 Cheers for Admiral Keth!! What a site!) but couldn't find an easy way of determining whether a battle was predominantly infantry or armor. So, can any of you extremely helpful souls offer a few suggestions for me? CombinedArms Posted November 28, 2001 Share Posted November 28, 2001 Bigdog's suggestions are all good. Some other really good armor heavy encounters include: The Wrong Hill (really, really wild!) Elsdorf--The Encounter Paderborn (if I've got that name right) Chambois If I'm not mistaken, all of these are by Wild Bill Wilder, as are several of those mentioned by Bigdog. It has some panthers and armored cars and on the american side m8 greyhounds and m3a1 halftracks with .50 cal jeeps. the greyhounds can go toe to toe against the light german armor but need to get side shots against the panthers. if memory serves it is only 20 turns.
