Redwolf
caralampio, no question, the 6600GT is better. TufenHuden, there are three kinds of people posting in a thread like this: 1) people who have something to contribute such as "hey this particular car at this store is good for the money". 2) people who have questions, such as "how abot this card?" 3) people who scan the thread thinking "there must be something in here where I can piss on the thread. Something must be wrong here. There there there, he claimed that the foobarxyz card only comes in n and m amounts of memory. But hah, I found a rare engineering sample of the same card with o amount of memory. Sweeeeeet victory." Of course you win the thread because at least you located an engineering sample, whereas Wilhelm is number-challenged, but it still doesn't contribute a single thing to this thread. How long did it take you to locate that card just to "win" this thread? Here's the news: IT DOESN'T MATTER.

Wilhelm Heidkamp
Redwolf, is possible you know a lot about computers and videocards. However, you dont know anything about cortesy and politeness. You cant insult and discredit to other forum members like you do it. Its a pitty Moderators dont read your posts more frequently.

Redwolf
It is still irrelevant that some "golden samples" of some random RAM configuration for some random GPU exist. How the two of you can think that this is a useful contribution to a graphics card recommendation thread is bejond me.
klugman
I used to have a geoforce fx5600. That card sucked. I am done with geoforce cards.
TufenHuden
Gainward GoldenSample means it can be overclocked and is covered by the warranty, also there tweaked a little bit but just to tell you I've a 6800 256mb but it isn't a GT the best 6800 256mb none GT if you can find it is a Asus 6800 256mb gammers edition with DDR3 ram a decent card but not a GT. Do a Google search Redwolf on either Gainward 2200 or Asus 6800 256mb Gammers edition I think you can fill your Big head on all the kinds of info if it's beyond comprehention..... ... Redwolf
TufenHuden, you must have the thickest skin on this forum, and that means something. This thread is about commonly available cards, not some golden samples and "if you can find it is a Asus 6800 256mb gammers edition"s.
