I am not inviting discussion. I am just chiming in on this one extremely iritating flaw in my favorite game system.

How can something suck if it doesn't exist? There is NO convoy AI logic whatsoever in the game.

Funny how this is one of the very few topic that won't spawn disputes.

I love the game... but moving in column formation is a pain in the arse.

wrong thread for this but in a CMBB game i had ~50 afv's, scout cars & towed guns start in perfect order & all go straight down the road without a hiccup. the combination of extra waypoints & wait orders doing it. it took over an hour to plot the turn.

they ran straight into a tiger/panther trap & where in flames in minutes but *thats not the point*.

So true Other means, with carefully plotted way points and time delays you can minimize this problem. 50 AFVs is pushing matters to the extreme however!
