Does West Front out sell East Front?

I know companies don't commonly release sales figures, but I'm wondering if CMAK outsold CMBB in its first year, and if so do you think it's because the Combat Mission consumer (excluding Germans and Poles) prefers to play a game with his own country in it, or would that be only total speculation on sales reasons?

I bought CMBO, CMBB as well as CMAK. So, judging by this data, their west front games have sold twice as much as their east front games. OTOH, I play CMBB almost exclusively.

Yeah, even if we knew sales figures that doesn't mean that actual playing time is reflected by that.

Quite a few of those who dig really deep are East Front buffs and they would still by one one of the three games (they they only bought for their primary interest).

On the other hand, many people who buy a lot of games and trumpet around a lot on forums couldn't care less for Korsun pocket just because it's East front. How much time these people spend in the game as opposed to forums and shops is hard to say.

Personally the Eastern Front is my primary interest, but the Western Front is just as good gaming-wise. Fighting in Stalingrad or charging up an Italian mountain are both good with me. I'm just more inclined to read a book on Stalingrad.
