Anyone know why the Forum threads generate only a generic URL for link purposes? n/t

John, if you log into the site via www.battlefront.com then of course it will give that address. Why? Because then the web browser address displayed refers to the top menu (Main, Products, Purchase, Downloads...).

Use the direct forum address so you don't get the top panel.

Ain't nothing to do with hardware.

Yup, the site is run in frames (God how I hate frames!). If you right click on the link that reads "Forums" and then select "open in a new window" or "open in a new tab" or whatever your browser says for opening a requested page in a new browser window, then you will "break out of the frame" and thus see the true URL's.
