jcikal
Is it possible to create my own models and get them into the game? What about maps?
Dogface
Yes and Yes. Maps are easier you can do that with an in-game editor. Models (most) can be changed via Photoshop or similar.
Sergei
Khhmmm, it should be pointed out that the 3d MODELS are not modifiable. Only textures are.
jcikal
Thanks Dogface & Sergei. Any chances of adding our own 3d models in the future?

MikeyD
The coding for the polygons are buried so deep that they'll never be extracted! Can't change the vehicle specs either (can't make an 80 mph Panther for instance). This pretty much protects BFC from rip-offs of their hard work – Seeing bootleg theaters for sale with reworked polygons and weapons stats using their proprietary game engine, for example. When CMx2 comes on line there'll be no touching the polygons or stats either.

Philippe
If you can change the stats you can never be sure that there's a level playing field when playing a live opponent. One of the reasons that CMx1 was such a successful vehicle for internet play was precisely that the stats never changed.
