yacinator
When calculating armor penetration, does CM take into consideration the angle at which the tank is facing the gun? In my experience it does, but I'd like another opinion.

yacinator
Ok. I'm assuming that 90 degrees is ideal and anything less or more decreases the penetration value, right? Edit: spelling.

That is, unless your tanks are 2-dimensional paper sheets. The game counts that if your tank's front points more than 45 degrees away from the enemy, then the side is exposed. The direction of the tank also affects how big a target it is. You can try these things in the editor by drawing the LOS line from a gun to a tank and noting the kill chance.
