Rommel as a in game commader

I have read that Rommel had a tendancy to get pretty close to the action .Do you think Rommel shoulde be included as a in game commader .I know his rank is outside of the scale of the game but it might be fun .

Is the Mammut going to be modelled? I suppose you could have him rolling around in "GREIF", his SdKfz 250 command halftrack. But aside from talking on the radio, what would you have him do?

If this was GI Combat, there would be animations of him scarfing down sandwiches, lancing desert sores on his lip, and leaning in real close to look at his maps, too. I still chuckle when I see that newsreel footage of him with the maps - its like he's trying to sniff the British out!

..I guess we could politely ask Andrew to mod Bn HQ units to make a look-alike Rommel [red trouser stripes and colar tabs, goggles]...mm come to think of it, maybe a 'Straffer' or Horricks, Freyberg too.. Tac HQ's were alway in peril of being overrun in the Desert

Boy if he could smell the British just by sniffing the map he must have had a really good sense of smell.

It would definitely be fun. But what effect would he have on the game? Put him in a command tank and make him the maxed bonus leader I guess. +2 courage, +2 combat, +2 stealth, +2 command. Or sumfink. And if he dies all the Germans stop fighting and bear him from the field, heads hanging, weeping, and fiddling at their beards... wait.... I'm mixing that up with the Silmarillion, sorry.
