John Kettler
dog of war, These should help. First two sections here. http://bcoy1cpb.pacdat.net/canadian_military_vehicles.htm 3 x CMP WW II trucks restored. Very groggy! http://www.canadianmilitarypattern.com/ Lots of great material here, to include production histories. Note: no Canadian Jeep production in Canada; was done under special contract in the U.S. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/8092/index.htm Ram tanks http://bcoy1cpb.pacdat.net/armour.htm Welbike http://bcoy1cpb.pacdat.net/welbike.htm Treasures galore here. http://www.mapleleafup.org/vehicles/index.html Many related sites here http://www.mapleleafup.org/links.html including this (if you really want to get nitty gritty) http://www.dana-nield.com/d32/blair/Manuals/tabid/217/Default.aspx Some info's available in Chamberlain and Ellis, BRITISH AND AMERICAN TANKS OF WORLD WAR 2. If the CW couldn't source US engines they could certainly make their own, so a tank would still be there but would have a RR engine instead of whatever it had. OTOH, Britain would have probably lost the Battle of Britain (no propellers) and the Battle of the Atlantic (no ships), so it would be moot anyway. But don't let me put you off - it's your scenario :

Ford had branch plants in Canada (Germany too, incidentally)...
