Antman
I've just been admiring junk2drive's Italian-to-Japanese Mods for CMAK(at CMMODS). I've been interested in the Manchurian border clashes between Japan and the USSR for a while, and wanted to get to work on some CMBB battles and Ops. Naturally the Italians make great Japanese....light mortars, mountain guns, lousy tanks...but they'll look even better with Rising Sun icons and the other great stuff like leggings I know nothing about the technical constraints of modding the CM series, so forgive my question: Is there a way I can use CMAK BMP's for CMBB? Thanks, Matt
Der Alte Fritz
Yes you just cut and paste them into your bmp folder. But make sure thast they are the right number first, you may have to change it, AND always back up your work before you start
Antman
Thanks for that...I was hoping it would be that simple Cheers, Matt
junk2drive
Do a forum search for member Japanzer. He had a website with a mod for the Toldi II and some SPA for BB. Before CMAK I only had CMBB and did my first half assed mods in BB while waiting for AK to release. Posted some screenshots back then and no one seemed to care. Careful with the bmp numbers, quite a few of them are different.

John Kettler
Antman, Good luck with the mods. Be sure to read the CGSC study (available online, too) on Nomonhan and Khalkin Gol. Full of great stuff! Regards, John Kettler
Antman
Thanks, John....I'm moving house at the moment, which kinda sidelines everything else....I'm really regretting buying all those @#$%!% history books But I'll get over it...massed BT-5 attacks rule!!!
