Ales Dvorak
Today, November 11th, should be a reminder to all Americans of the price that our friends and families have paid so that you may enjoy the freedoms you have today. Excuse me for my ignorance, but what happened on November 11th? Regards Ales

MikeyD
Yeh, when my WWII veteran father told me today was veteran's day I didn't believe him, to my embarrassment. No disrespect intended. I simply thought this was one of those handful of holidays that had been moved, like President's Day. We U.S. citizens have been conditioned to expect all holidays to fall on Mondays Now, if only they could get New Years Eve to start falling on Mondays!
