  1. If you know the german language a little bit, there's a german ladder at http://www.gamershall.de/wpc/cm/cm-main.htm
  2. You're right, the Mod replaces the original file. But you can look at the filenames of the mod and backup the files from your original, or use a mod manager, or backup the whole bmp folder if you like
  3. Veteran's Day. See this thread in the general discussion forum. Or the site: http://www.appc1.va.gov/vetsday/ [ November 11, 2003, 04:04 AM: Message edited by: pakfan ]
  4. Come on, Modders! Give it a try! It's not much effort to type a little posting on Gautrek's board !
  5. Great job!!! Now all we have to do is re-upload all those mods . Probably won't take long!
  6. The word is derived from the french word 'fusil' -> rifle. It's an oldfashioned form of 'rifleman'.
  7. If I'm not mistaken, this is the one from the Sinsheim museum, but I couldn't check as the lycos link didn't work. </font>
  8. Don't touch the Tiger. He's MINE! Hope you have a nice stay in my country!
  9. The stuart tanks had the following crew: driver, assistant driver/bow gunner, main gunner tank commander/loader Take a look at this site for some details... [ July 04, 2003, 09:43 AM: Message edited by: pakfan ]
  10. Send me the scenario file via email or put it on some webspace, I'll see if it works on my PC.
  11. Ever tried to unrar the BMPs from your original CD and the patch files? That could keep your mailbox from bursting... Simply use WinRAR, and you'll get all the BMPs. Or simply reinstall to another directory...
  12. You can use the compression software winrar to open the installation exe and copy single files. Look at http://www.winrar.de/ to get the software.
  13. FSAA -> Full-Screen Anti-Aliasing ani -> Anisotropic Filtering
  14. Thanks a lot . I did some other interface mods almost two years ago (at least I think so), but after a recent installation of CMBO I needed something new, so I had to do this mod...
  15. Hi there! I placed a CMBO-conversion of my CMBB "alpha" interface on Cozog's Site, it's simply called "CMBO Pakfan Camo if". Check it out if you like . [ April 30, 2003, 05:45 AM: Message edited by: pakfan ]
  16. If that thing makes it into the game, I demand a "Landschlachtschiff" on the german side. Something like the P-1000 or th P-1500 . Or maybe the "Projekt NM":
  17. Take a look at the "Technical Support" forum for driver discussions... There's a lot of discussions going on. Or in your case, simply install the ol 41.09 drivers (that's what I did, too!). They're MUCH faster!

  19. Looks great... Almost missed your mod in the rerent flood of "Kingfisher publications"
  20. I had the same problem until I switched of FSAA (Full-Screen AntiAliasing). Try to change your FSAA settings, maybe it helps...
  21. You might as well use "Unbenannt" (unnamed, not named) or "Unbenannte Einheit" (unnamed unit).
  22. Of course it's available at www.cmmods.com. Browse by designer, choose pakfan, I think it was called "Pakfan Interface Mod", and "Pakfan Interface Mod add-on" (you'll want both). Or "Pakfan Interf Mod CDV GERMAN" if you're using the german version. Unfortunately no CMMOS version (didn't have time to create one yet).
  23. Nope, Munster doesn't own a Tiger I tank. I think the last one was the one from Bovington (the David Byrden tank ), and this one is on loan from the french tank museum in Saumur. But no matter where it's from, Munster is definitely worth visiting. Especially the Rommel/Guderian/von Kluge shrine . [ March 06, 2003, 11:30 AM: Message edited by: pakfan ]
