Kanonier Reichmann Posted February 22, 2003 Share Posted February 22, 2003 On this subject of the different versions, I'm wondering whether anybody else has had a problem with the upgrade where a new PBEM file received to setup a game doesn't seem to work under either version. I've received a new setup for a game from a BoB member and it says I need to upgrade the version of my executable under 1.01 and 1.02. What gives? I've checked and rechecked my versions and it clearly shows the little white number in the introductory screen of 1.01 or 1.02, whichever is applicable. Either the player I'm up against has a direct line to BFC & already has ver. 1.03 or there's something screwy going on. Suffice to say I need to check the parameters of the game properly first, especially the bit about who owns which game.
