theike
Nope; ive never noticed something like that. And they just appear where they werend seen before? (watch out; might be wet cement to go for a alternative roadblock/barbedwire thingy. Never trust the almighty and alcunning AI) no, seriously; sounds very odd. Shadow 1st Hussars
QB maps can be odd with stuff like that. Sometimes you may even get two roads running parrallel to each other connected by "T" all the way down. Water is sort of random as well. Same goes for hedge, fences and walls.

Are you saying there are weird random map anomolies (kind of normal unfortunately) or you were halfway through a game when some road tiles appeared? Bogdan
Yes, it appears sometimes in QB. Usually, there is a road traversing the entire map and passing by a village. The road section in the town simply doesn't exist. Also, I use to set "village" for random map. But it's very rare IMO.
Other Means
this was a rural QB map. half way through, some small tiles of road appeared. therefore i'm thinking the file got corrupted. but as it's encryped i think it would be very difficult for it to do that without wreaking the whole file. anyone reckon i should send the saves to BFC?
Conscript Bagger
Installed any mods lately? If I'm correctly picturing the effect you describe, it could happen if your trench bmps accidentally got overwritten with road images.
