Chupacabra
A thread on homebrewing in the General Forum and a certain anticipatory dryness in my mouth indicate that those of us in the DC area might think about another beer night. How does next Monday (President's Day) sound to you all? Too short notice?
WWB
Hmm, Monday could work for me. I will be in the depths of a 3 day bender, but when is not that the case. WWB
Chupacabra
Also, I reckon I'll let someone else choose the venue this time around. Enlighten me on some other good DC bars, O wise ones.
Jim L.
I'll be working in Rockville, MD that monday so I might be interested in attending. Let me know where it is. Thanks!
Diceman
I'd love to come, but I've escaped the beltway. It's too far a drive from Anchorage Alaska. Irronically I think I brought Maryland weather with me. It's been raining off and on for a week now.
Chupacabra
Bump. Monday (President's Day) 8 PM. Location TBA. Abraham Lincoln demands that you honor his memory by getting sloppy.

You want trendy/non-trendy/pub/club....hey, in fact, how about Buffalo Billiards? Good bar, decent food and you can play pool while you guys grog out.

WWB
Billiards is not a bad idea. Another idea, in the dark & smoky with very cheap drinks category is Fox & Hounds Lounge. But I am pretty ambivalent. WWB

TikiBob
I got an idea... Why don't you guys come down to Richmond?
WWB
No. Venturing beyond the beltway is hazardous to your health, according to my lawyer. So, gentlemen, shall it be: A: Buffalo Billiards: Pool, variety of beer on tap, funky furniture -or- B: Fox & Hounds: Pooor lighting, good jukebox, cheap drinks. Chupacabra
Hi guys - in light of the weather, I think I'm personally going to have to bow out of any drinking tomorrow. I think it's looking more like a Blockbuster night for me. Let me take a look at my schedule and maybe we can work out a snow date. WWB
Yeah, looks like there is a foot down and the worst is yet to come. Well, I can make it to fox and hounds but I suspect no one else will be there. I say we put it off for a week or two--it will take a while for them to clear out this mess. Marlow
OK then, who's up for next week? I'm good on Mon, Tues or Thurs.

How about the following week (the week of March 10th)? Next week is a no-can-do since I will be in Moscow/St. Petersburg and enjoying the museums, beer, and vodka.
