Hubert Cater
Hello Everyone! I am pleased to announce that the TCP/IP patch has just attained official Beta status and has just been sent out for full testing. I imagine there may be a few hiccups here and there, but if all goes well there should be patch v1.05 with full TCP/IP support available soon. Note: The TCP/IP patch includes chatting as a standard feature Hubert

USGrant
Cool. Will we see any other tweaks in 1.05, or shall we wait for 1.06?
Archibald
Hubert, will it be possible to load a PBEM saved game and continue playing it through TCP/IP?

iolo
Can you save a TCP/IP game and resume it at a later time? That would rock!

iolo
Man, and I was just starting to come to grips with my SC problem... (btw guys, the first step is to admit that you have a problem.)
HankWWIIOnline
The first step, actually, is starting a new PBEM game alongside the other 3 you have going. And once TCP/IP is implemented, that first step will become much more easier to take. And once you have 4 PBEM's going and 2 saved TCP/IP games ready to play at any given moment, then you are set. Der_Waggs
Great I can Hardly wait for the online patch. Pbem is ok but nothing is like a online game. Now if Otto can get that ladder set up on his site well  I look forward to playing each and everyone of you when the online patch comes out,
TwoSheds
Holy Crap! I've just started playing this game, and i was about to suggest it REALLY needs an online capability. PBEM just doesnt cut it when a turn takes 1-3 minutes (tops) and the turn-around is a 1/2 day or more. there is no way to "get into" a game with a slow pace like that. ONLINE will r0xx0r.
