jon_j_rambo
@Kuni --- I'm with you on that brother, the U.S. ain't crap in soccer. At least my lady digs sport's stuff, I'll be knocking down an Amstel Light brew, chillin'. I might put $50 on the game with my bookie to up the action. Far as attending sports, the Legend prefers live College basketball, best ticket in the country. Next, I love my NHL! Detroit Redwings to be exact (grew up in Michigan). Then I gotta have my PGA tour stop! Then, football & baseball. Anybody see the Agassi comback from down 0-2 sets against Blake to win a 5th set tiebreaker? jon_j_rambo
Legend's favorite Baseball song: Well, beat the drum and hold the phone - the sun came out today! We're born again, there's new grass on the field. A-roundin' third, and headed for home, it's a brown-eyed handsome man; Anyone can understand the way i feel. Chorus: Oh, put me in, coach - i'm ready to play today; Put me in, coach - i'm ready to play today; Look at me, i can be centerfield. Well, i spent some time in the mudville nine, watchin' it from the bench; You know i took some lumps when the mighty casey struck out. So say hey willie, tell ty cobb and joe dimaggio; Don't say "it ain't so", you know the time is now. Chorus Yeah! i got it, i got it! Got a beat-up glove, a homemade bat, and brand-new pair of shoes; You know i think it's time to give this game a ride. Just to hit the ball and touch 'em all - a moment in the sun; (pop) it's gone and you can tell that one goodbye! Chorus Chorus Yeah!

jon_j_rambo
Legend's favorite Texas Holdem' song: on a warm summer's evenin' on a train bound for nowhere, I met up with the gambler; we were both too tired to sleep. So we took turns a starin' out the window at the darkness 'til boredom overtook us, and he began to speak. He said, "son, i've made a life out of readin' people's faces, And knowin' what their cards were by the way they held their eyes. So if you don't mind my sayin', i can see you're out of aces. For a taste of your whiskey i'll give you some advice." So i handed him my bottle and he drank down my last swallow. Then he bummed a cigarette and asked me for a light. And the night got deathly quiet, and his face lost all expression. Said, "if you're gonna play the game, boy, ya gotta learn to play it right. You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, Know when to walk away and know when to run. You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table. There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done. Now ev'ry gambler knows that the secret to survivin' Is knowin' what to throw away and knowing what to keep. 'cause ev'ry hand's a winner and ev'ry hand's a loser, And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep." So when he'd finished speakin', he turned back towards the window, Crushed out his cigarette and faded off to sleep. And somewhere in the darkness the gambler, he broke even. But in his final words i found an ace that i could keep. You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, Know when to walk away and know when to run. You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table. There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done.

hellraiser
@Jon_j_rhymes - nice touch, frd ... btw, I would like to get my @ss to the States to know you and spend some cool time over there ... okay, not with that crap you're drinking, Amstel Light, I'll bring you something worth drinking from Transylvania, something called 'palinca' or 'horinca' - it'll change the way you see alcohol, forever ... Maybe you should come over, ya know. We could go to my brother-in-law in Maramures (the northernmost part of Transylvania), where you can enjoy the traditional rural way of life, people will offer everything they got to you, good food (actually awesome, not that junk you guys are eating in western europe and the USA), good booze, church attending, Lord praising - all in all the good and healthy way of life our ancestors used to have. And the chicks...OMG...forget those Mc'D stuffed walruses walking your streets - here is the real stuff, even a saint would turn a sinner ... So anytime you're up to a trip, drop me a line. jon_j_rambo
@HR --- Chicks dig the Legend. I've been to a Romanian Baptist Church down in Portland, Oregon. They make the men sit on one side, the ladies on the other. I don't drink much Devil Juice, only a light beer now & then. We have microbeer in the States, even that stuff is too heavy for the Legend. My lady likes the wine & some beer, but mostly she just likes me :)American churches on the West Coast are rather lame, I miss the ones in Idaho & the Bible Belt where the preachers get with it. You Euros would love the Legend's way of life. Don't think you could handle all the superficial fatasses clogging up the highways & their arteries while driving with a cellphone on.
