leakyD
I'm wanting to convert some CMBO scenarios to CMAK. I found this utility: http://www.pyes-ct.de/mc.html But I need CMBO to export the maps. Well, I don't have CMBO anymore. Go figure. So, I'm wondering if this utility is a worthwhile app. If so, I'll grab another CMBO CD and start playing with it. Thanks,
Sergei
Yes, it works great.
junk2drive
Not only for converting BO to BB or AK Convert an Op from any to any above. Change height, direction, crop, etc. It only copies map tiles, you still have to buy and position units, flags reinf. etc. Hint, make sure the copy to window is the same size as the copy from.
Kingfish
Before Pyewacket's program came out I converted 3 scenarios and 1 Op using the old fashioned method of one tile at a time, both for terrain and elevation. It took me over a week to convert the map to Wild Bill's "Ardennes - Team Desorby". With Map converter 1.29 I can convert the same map in under a minute. Excellent program. leakyD, I still have CMBO, so I'll be happy to convert the maps if you want. E-mail me with your choices.
Hans
Yeah I did that too for all the PanzerBlitz Situations, which were based on three common boards (from the board game) I had to remake the various combinations......where were you Pyewacket!!

They're good training. Specifically: "Grafenwohr" "Fire and Maneuver" I don't know the names of any of the other training scenarios, if there are any. I just sent you an email. Thanks again for the assistance!
KG_Jag
If you are doing training battles, don't forget CMBOs excellent tutorial created by Wild Bill Wilder. It might also be fun to duplicate the CMBO demo scenarios, although versions of both of those have already been done.
Old Warmonger
I am having some trouble with this program. Sometimes it works ok. However most of the time it seems to work ok but the map stays blank or I get a run error type mismatch #13. I have CMBO 1.12 and CMAK 1.01 and I am using version 1.28 of this map conversion program. Has anyone had similar problems and found the fix?
Kingfish
I have 1.29 and on occasion I too have encountered the same problem. I find that by closing both cm games and then restarting I get it to work. However, I have CMAK patched to 1.03, so your problem may be there. Just a guess.
junk2drive
With 1.29 I had to run the analysis for CMBO to get it to do CMBO copies. After that no problems.
Sergei
Also don't forget to place your mouse pointer on top of the map, not the tile palette.
Old Warmonger
Thanks guys. I have got it working well now. It appears my problem was with the mouse. Strange that its position is so important!
Pyewacket
yep that's strange and I even can't explain why...
