Overwrote scenario with a saved game blues

I was working on a scenario and was testing it. I accidently overwrote it with a saved game. Now I can't load it back into the scenario editor. Is there anyway to fix this or do I have to redo the scenario from scratch?

Well, I would check for the scenario in the Saved game directory, the Scenario directory, and the PBEM directory. Upon discovering that it's not there, then you can consider yourself screwed. Sorry.

Since you're most likely screwed, let me just add that I've done this as well, and I can feel your pain.

Now hit yourself about the head with your hand and repeat after me: "Stoopid! Stoopid! Stoopid!" Repeat until you think you've learned something.

I did this too. I don't understand why the default folder for scenario creations is "Saved Games" rather than "Scenarios" - unless this is just me.

Is there a way in Windows to change the default folder when I am saving from the scenario editor?

I too learned this the hard way. As Michael indicated, save the scenario you are working on in the Scenarios folder rather than the default Saved Games folder.
