Hans
I just got an email saying that one of my older Scenarios, Small Battles, Rest No More automatically goes to ceasefire on the 2nd or 3rd turn when playing US vs German AI. I tested it myself and it NOW does do that. So why would it start doing that now and not during play testing? Why would the game engine go to auto ceasefire??

WWB
Don't know why offhand. A quick workaround is to just add a truck reinforcement to both sides on the last turn. Game will not surrender nor ceasefire automatically if there are reinforcements about. WWB
GreenAsJade
Ah! That explains the mysterious last-turn reinforcement in Things That Go Bump!!! I did wonder...
Sergei
Does it have to be on the last turn? Couldn't it arrive on turn 99?
Sergei
Oh, and to the problem of Hans: what are the ammo levels and battle type? Because those decide when auto-ceasefire steps into play. Maybe you changed them after play testing?
Hans
Hi Sergei Thanks for your ideas. I tried them and they didn't work! BUT then I tried messing around with the various reinforcements and finally I found something that did. For the Americans there are no troops on the map at the start, they filter in later. Adding a single jeep at the start (well hidden) and the scenario doesn't go to ceasefire. Odd My play tester and I however still don't understand how this didn't manifest itself until months after! Thanks Sergei!
