What tools do you use for Mod Making?

I'm wondering what sort of tools can get me working on those outstanding on my own. I once tried Paint that comes with Windows..(hahaha) its about like cutting the grass with a backhoe. You can do it but it aint gonna be purty.

I want to know what you mod makers prefur.

Adobe photo shop. And AOLs image thumbnails to find what I need.

Compupic for image management, Paintshop Pro for general editing, Photoimpact for effects and Morpheus for cranking out variations. All well worth the bucks if you get serious.

If I only had one to buy, I'd get Paintshop Pro.

I don't know anything about model making, but i have a demo of "Canomeia"??, which allows you to "paste" Photos onto a model to create realistic copies of real buildings.

If someone had the full copy and could make it work, they could set up a web site where for a fee they would model peoples homes ( or offices or ex-wives houses) for people to import into CM.
