yunfat
While talking to a few other gamers the other day an opinion was formed that a movie file of the entire battle would be a really cool feature to implement in CM2. Tactical analysis would be very easy... and it would save everybody the time of explaning everything all the time. Please help me convince BTS that this feature is an essential upgrade to the Combat Mission games.
The Commissar
BTS stated in one of their CM2 interviews that the are making all attempts to implement this feature. However, they might not be able to due to hardware/coding limitations and in that case we will have to wait until CMII the engine rewrite for the full movie playback. You probably can't. Unless you do PBEM(which saves movie files) you can't save movie files since a saved turn has a different outcome each time. If you do have PBEM files, KMan made a PC utility that works on some computers to play all the files.
Pvt. Ryan
This would be a great feature, and as has been stated BTS will implement it if possible. Ciao, yunfat
