Stalin's Organ
Right - ZIS-3 57mm AT gun, model 1943 (not the ZIS 2 'cos the -3 has tubular trails, the -2 has square ones). The ZIS-2 carriage was also used for the 1941/SiS3 76mm field gun. The ZIS-3 used the 76mm 1942/SiS3 carriage. Middle - yep, 85mm D44 Left: 100mm model 44 BS-

Heibis
That's a pretty looong barrel there on the 100mm gun. Wonder what the muzzle velociety is on that beast... Jens

Wonder what the muzzle velociety is on that beast... Jens

The D10's muzzle velocity was 880 m/s. It could penetrate 155mm at 500m. It was the Soviets best AT gun, but they preferred the 122mm with its more potent HE. The D10S was mounted on the SU-100. Post WWII, the D10T was mounted on the T-54. null

Darwin
What a nice crisp picture you have taken Killmore. I never really checked out the Russian rocket truck that I can't spell. Neat to see how it has 2 rockets on each guide, over and under.
killmore
More pictures are comming - gimme a week to sort out pictures. I also have pictures of WWII battlefield complete with trenches digged in t-34-85 and lots of AT guns. (German losses were 40 tanks, 9 APCs, battery of guns and 2500 inf) Polish losses were smaller but also substancial...
