Walter
Well, mine was charged on the 13th, and I *know* it didn't go out then Cheers, Walter R. Strapps
Shooter
Well, mine was charged the 15th also. I figure, if the postal gods are smiling on me, I might, just might, see my copy Saturday. Having done an exhaustive study of the roads and terrain between my tidewater Virginia home and the beautiful state of Maine, I feel it is a possibility. If it doesn't snow. ------------------
Cpt B M Deleted
Mine hasn't been charged yet...I wonder why? I pre-ordered in Nov of '99 so I shouldn't be too far down the line....... Is it possible that your credit card could not be charged and your order will still be sent out..? They'll just charge the card at a later date? I live in upstate New York. It shouldn't take long for the game to travel from Vermont, (fullfillment company) to me here near Albany. [This message has been edited by Capt. Cyberfox
Hey, I think that never before in history, so many people were happy because their credit card was charged. Another record for BTS? Cyberfox

Doug Beman
There may be a difference between when BTS keyed the transaction and when it's showing up in your account monitoring. I called my bank Wed and confirmed with a customer service rep that a charge had been authorized/requested/whatever on Tuesday for the correct $53.00. I know my copy didn't ship then, because I would have had it yesterday. As of yesterday afternoon that charge still wasn't showing up in my online account info (I can't check from home because you need 128-bit encryption and every time I try to upgrade my encryption it crashes my compter) DjB
TinMan
Will BTS be sending out an e-mail notice saying you've been billed or only sending you a notice if they had problems charging to your card. (i.e. expired card, etc.)Just wondering as I have received no news from them except to say my pre-order had been verified awhile ago.

Cpt B M Deleted
Hey guys, guess what I found out? If you check your credit card balance on the phone it takes 2 to 5 business days to show up. The guy in the recording said that. So essentially, If my card was charged and my package was shipped on Friday, I should get it on Monday!! Yippee!! MadDog0606
Just checked my account, again, and saw that a charge for $53 was made by Battlefront on the 16th. I can now rest easy knowing the game is comming and I have a weeks vacation comming up. I was going to do work around the house but I feel a sudden sickness comming on that will probably hit about the time my vacation arrives and I will have to stay in the house near the computer. Cpt B M Deleted
Hey MadDog...when did you pre-order?
MadDog0606
To answer your question Capt. Manieri, I pre-ordered back in Nov 99. I was checking out TACOPS and saw and downloaded the DEMO for CM. The next day I pre-ordered Combat Mission. I am a wargame nut. If the game has anything to do with WW2 or modern combat and is even remotly playable I'll buy it and play it. I own all but the 1st of the Close Combat games, the WW2 games from Talonsoft, most of the WW2 games from Atomic, and that modern warfare game Brigade Combat Team that Sharpnel Games puts out. I've been playing WW2 and Modern Warfare games (board and computer) since I was 12, and I'm 43 now. And I'm never ever going to grow out of it. Zamo
I might as well jump on the band wagon. Mine was charged for $53 on the 16th, so I'll be a little behing the point folks here. Only one more small bit of breath holding to go!!! On an aside, I am currently playing my first PBEM game and having a great time. I look forward to getting "dicey" with more of you after the game comes out. Boy, human players sure add a different element don't they? They really bring this game to life. My initial plan DID NOT survive contact with the enemy, and my opponant is expressing surprise after surprise at my actions and reactions. So far it's not my best game, but the situation is well in hand. Have fun all! Zamo

MadDog0606
If the game showes up Monday I'm going to be seriously PO'ed . I'll only be able to play the game that night. I have to go up to D.C. on Tuesday (leave about 6:30AM, wont get back until 10:30PM, got to babysit the boss during a meeting). Thank god it's only a day trip. I bought TacOps back in Nov 99, along with the Manuals CD (there is a LOT of neat stuff on that CD). It's about the only game I can put on the Laptop I take on work related trips. At my job, the only people who get the really good Laptops are the ones who don't write the code . I forgot to mention I also started getting the Panzer Campaigns from HPS. I've only gotten the Smolensk '41 game so far, haven't gotten around to getting Normandy '44 yet. There is only so much free time in a day.
