Zamo
Has anybody here ever been to Kubinka, or know the history of the Maus they have there? I was under the impression that no Muas' were finished and that the two prototypes were blown to bits. Did the Soviets finish one after the war? Or are my books just erronious? Anybody have a clue on this one? -Zamo [This message has been edited by Zamo (edited 06-30-2000).]
killmore
Very cool picture. I want a MAUS in CM2 !!! I believe there might have been one MAUS in the factory - almost complete but never shipped to front.
Fionn
1 Maus saw combat and destroyed several Soviet tanks ( that's the one at Kubinka). Another didn't have its armament fitted. So, the Maus DID see combat.. It'll be one of the questions in the new CMHQ quiz which will go live tomorrow.

tailz
One of the best examples of wasted resources and effort... wasn't a road bridge in Western Europe that could support it and RR transport was out of the question... flatcars couldn't hold it!
