Tiger
Here's the link to download the zip file. I asked Tom of Tom's Combat HQ if he wants to put them on his site, but I think it is like 0230am over in Germany right now.... http://www.negia.net/~jshki/germanhalftrack.zip johnS [This message has been edited by Tiger (edited 11-18-2000).]

M Hofbauer
johnS, gota hand it to you, these look really good. I'll probably DL them when they become available, I like the toned-down look of these. Good job! If I might make a small suggestion, as we all know, the front wheels in CM are not round but octagonal. since the tread area is greyish, and the side view is almost black, there is a high contrast and consequently the edges are showing. Now, my question is, would it be possible to paint the edges of the side view bmp file in a greyish color similar to the tread area to optically "round off" the wheel? a small image to illustrate what I am talking about: circles: edges showing due to contrast; arrow: if the side file is toned down in the edge area, the edge of the octagonal wheel isn't showing as readily, especially from the side. what do you think? yours sincerely, M.Hofbauer ------------------ "Im off to NZ police collage" (GAZ_NZ)
TexasToast
Great work as usual Tiger. How about some dirt? My favorite now is the new US halftrack that looks nice and dirty. Seems like every vehicle in this game looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Of course, I still download and use every one I can get my hands on...
