Goanna
Does anybody know of a good on-line source for the US Army map symbols in WWII like the ones for the German army at <http://www.freeport-tech.com/wwii/011_germany/43_organ_army/_symbols_43.html>? I have been drawing up these symbols for use in marking up maps for AARs and CMMC and want to make up ones for both sides. I can also send copies of them to whoever wants them when I am done. ------------------ desert rat wannabe
guachi
No idea of a good on-line source. But I do have a set of symbols already done up and on my computer. I'll e-mail them to you. If you want a hard copy of them, buy the US Army Handbook by George Forty. It's not an official book, but if you live in America it is only $10. Pak40
The manual for the Operational Art of War has a very good legend of map units.
