rvseydlitz
Situation. .Game-Shock Force 2 with all add-ons. German Leo2A6...will be Tank A Syrian T-72M(early) and Shilka will be Tank B and AV 1. Both have infantry in support, a platoon of PzG reinforced with a sniper and AT team for the NATO side and a full company of rifle platoons on the Syrian side. Syrian forcesall in cover...trees and buildings, forward of NATO position. Syrian Tank B is the only one on that side set to move, and will cover a winding zig-zag path trying to flank the Leo2. Both forces entirely still in front of each other with the NATO Bundeswehr PzG flanks a bit forward. The battle starts slowly with the PzG trying to feel out the Syrian positions without getting pinned down into a firefight. Tank A is very cautiously jumping forward behind its infantry screen, ready to provide heavy support if needed. Suddenly the presence of tank B is known as it fires and misses at Tank A. Tank A, still on auto pilot in the middle of a WEGO turn, pops smoke and reverses...out of cover but still it's back facing its own side AWAY from Tank B. They exchange fire again...destroying the T72 Tank B, but Tank A is "hit in the rear" surviving but sustaining damage. How was it "hit in" a rear that was facing away from all enemy units!?
Centurian52
This is hard to answer based on a description alone. I don't suppose you kept a save file?
Artkin
Could have backed toward a house or somewhere it had to manuever around, changing the path it takes to the waypoint.

Ugh that is exactly what happened...was getting ready to send that minute's "save" as requested and watched again with pauses...and wasn't the T72 that hit it...was the Shilka...DAMN those 23mm quads throw up a wall of lead in the 2 seconds it was in sight...
Vergeltungswaffe
Watching quad 20mm's in the WW2 titles, or the Shilkas in the modern ones are some of my very favorite CM moments. Gotta love all that going downrange in the blink of an eye.

Vergeltungswaffe
True. I'm not too keen on being on the receiving end either.
