Crash when saving in campaign game

Recommended Posts

Hi,

when I'm in a mission, that is part of a campaign and I try to save, I get a Crash to Dektop.

Saving in a quick or normal battle works fine, as it does from all the other Combat Mission titles in campaign.

Anyone had issues with that?

So some details would help a bit.  Which Campaign, which mission and how far into that mission were you?

With a computer that can barely handle large scenarios the saving process might take several minutes. Click the save button only once and the leave your computer untouched for lets say 5 minutes. The game will go to "unresponsive" state according to Windows for maybe several minutes. It will recover if you let it. This is my experience when I am sometimes forced to play with laptop.

I've had that happen a couple of times in my run through of the US campaign, can be quite annoying. I put it down to me not having the best PC in the world that is a few years out of date too. I will be buying a new Graphics card for it soon though which I hope might help.

Ok, looks like I was simply to impatient. When I simply wait for 4 minutes the game saves without crashing. Impatient mashing the mouse button crashes the game.

What makes me wonder is tha fact, the my laptop is rather powerful (i710thgen, 2070 nVidia, 32GB RAM).

But anyway, I won't complain, I can continue to play 🙂
