What unit is best for spoting for arty, using Drones etc

And often, not "not often" all 3 on....  And i talk about 155mm now. 
The 120 mortars.... did they charge the battery for their targeting thingy?
Last night i got so frustrated that i called in a Heavy Maximum 155mm + fixed wing, helos etc point strike on them...  enjoyed the show, zoomed in, loaded the save i made just before and realized that without that save, id be virtually in big trouble.

If you ever come to that, save, quit to desktop and take a walk.

Im that guy who try to go with zero casualties on every mission, so put it like this, if you not use save/correct mistake - its kinda hard when you have that darn timer against you

Fire Control -II- *two silver bars
Forward Observer

Still going on rank + morale etc there when targeting?
Fire Control is that the same as Air Controller?
*edit saw that now -yes it is Air Controller

Been playing it again with the same results... What is the trick to this scenario as the US?  Use the fords?  Up the middle?  Sit back and let them come to you first?  Nothing I try works.

I reckon holding back and letting your Javelins ambush their tanks is the way forward.....It's not an easy scenario though and I suspect there are several AI plans for each side.
