McMortison
Hello @all. I do have a question about aiming with precision arti ammo at a vehicle that first stood still and then starts to move. Â Will the forward observer follow the target with the laser beam? Â Thanks Sven

A Canadian Cat
23 hours ago, McMortison said: Will the forward observer follow the target with the laser beam? The shot answer is yes. There are limitations on who perfect the rounds will come in. My experience is that if the vehicle moves and stops and the observer has eyes on in both locations the rounds will hit their target as well as if it never moved. If the vehicle is still moving when the rounds come in there is more uncertainty.

That seems to depend on whether the observer/designator has LOS on the target until impact. Michael
