HMG Set up time

Can anyone tell me why the same HMG has 2 wildly different set up times?  I've seen it on all the games, but never knew why? Couldn't find an explanation in the manual.

2.3min is for any tripod mounted MG inside buildings. This is to simulate stacking up furniture for cover (most walls aren't built with the ability to resist gunfire in mind) and to mount the tripod on IIRC.

There's a difference in deployment times if they're in a building to account for reaaranging furniture etc. instead of simply plonking it down in a field.

In your screenshots the 1st Team are ready and rairng to go, whilst the 2nd Section are knackered and wary. Possibly they need a quick smoke to help pull themselves togther before cracking on with the job.

Thanks for the info. The first team is crossing a field and the second is in a building.  It never occurred to me to consider the environment!
