Today In a quick battle I had a sherman in the woods that spotted an enemy command team, very close and then they also spotted a panther tank across the field. The turret turned 7 times from panther to command team panther to command team without firing anything...... The panther didn't see him until the 7th turret turn and nailed the incompetent sherman tank. womble Posted April 26, 2016 Share Posted April 26, 2016 It shouldn't happen very often though, since encountering infantry at a range that makes them an equivalent threat to a Panther ought to be rare. There must be something about this situation that confuses the poor TacAI commander. user1000 Posted April 28, 2016 Author Share Posted April 28, 2016 (edited) no save but the tank crew couldn't shoot at the command troops on the ground with mg next to turret (troops too close for guns) or turret so they tried to turn the tank so bow could get him but then they saw the panther and was stuck.
