John Kettler
This video is harrowing enough to watch. I don't want to even think about what it was like to be there. Live fire. Note short, disciplined bursts, which have extraordinarily bright tracer. Burst after burst goes down range, but then things come unstuck. Spectacularly and terrifyingly!Outside viewhttp://www.liveleak.com/view?i=bec_1393876436View through driver's hatch. Note the shape of the clouds and the sun position are the same as above. The Aviationist isn't sure, but I'm highly confident that the two vids are of the same event.http://theaviationist.com/2014/03/05/tunguska-out-of-control/Regards,John Kettler Edited October 26, 2015 by John Kettler
gnarly
Hi John, You've actually supplied the same link twice, rather than two different links? I believe this is the second (driver's view) link you intended?
John Kettler
gnarly, Good catch. Yet again a moment's inattention results in failure to clear the cache and copy the right link. I've fixed the OP. Putin should be very glad that crazy incident didn't happen in one of those exercises he watches from the reviewing stand with all kinds of Russian and foreign brass present. Could've resulted in numerous command openings!Regards,John Kettler Edited October 26, 2015 by John Kettler
