agusto
Out of interest I have been following the development of the civil wars in Syria and Iraq closely for the last couple of years. Naturally i also took a look at ISIS propaganda because i wanted to know how the group sees itself. I did that once and never again - they are probably the most disgusting and sadistic political group that currently exists on planet earth. Now recently i read news of a new propaganda video showing the most barabaric acts of ISIS i have heard about yet. Read for yourself (dont worry, there are neither gore nor videos in the articles): http://www.timesofisrael.com/is-drowns-decapitates-spies-in-brutal-new-video/ http://gulfnews.com/news/mena/iraq/latest-video-shows-daesh-style-execution-by-drowning-1.1539684 It' s almost beyond my understanding how ISIS or Daesh, as they are called in arabic, can get so much pleasure from killing civillians and POWs in the most brutal ways conceiveable. Reading news like this makes me feel thankful for the american aircraft currently bombing ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq and for all others who are currentlly resisting ISIS. Reading news like this makes me feel thankful for the american aircraft currently bombing ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq and for all others who are currentlly resisting ISIS. Like you, I have been following developments in Syria and Iraq, but I haven't watched any of the ISIS videos. Protecting my mental health. It does seem to me there's a kind of sea-change going on, with parts of the Middle East melting down in grotesque depraved violence and with huge migrant pressure against Europe, as well as more terrorism. Problem being, I don't think all those bombings are really doing much to stop ISIS. It really pains me to see especially Syria in this situation, as I have travelled there and found the people to be very friendly. Back then, there were rumours of war, but it seemed very peaceful. I don't think I will ever be able to go back there, as it will likely not be peaceful again within my lifetime - and I'm only 35.
