Doug Williams
Can precision artillery strikes be used with both onboard and offboard tubes?
agusto
Generally yes, but i dont know whether or not the mortars i chose are capable of delivering precision strikes. AFAIK only the 2S34 and 2A65 howitzers and the 2B11 mortar have laser guided ammunation, the other Russian artillery pieces dont. You also must use a spotter equipped with a laser designbator if you want to use precisions strikes as Russians, only the Americans have the luxury of GPS guided munitions.

Bud Backer
If you check the encyclopedia in the game manual PDF you'll see the units that have Krasnopol ammunition. Those that do will be able to fire precision ammo. Generally my experience is that 120mm and better have it, but it's not hard to double check before purchasing by looking in the manual.
