John Kettler
One of my brothers sent this to me, and it's pretty mind blowing. Four Tigers were ill advisedly committed to combat on wholly unsuitable terrain, all of them apparently became bogged in the swampy area and were unable to be extricated. The Russians retrieved three, but for some reason, this one was ignored. I'd put this on the GDF, but this forum is about as good as it gets. I could put it on the CMBB Forum, where it would technically be fully appropriate, since the game covers the entire GPW. http://www.warhistoryonline.com/war-articles/tiger-250001-found.html Regards, John Kettler Edited February 9, 2015 by John Kettler
Karabekian
I doubt there is any proof that the first Tiger was ever outside Germany. The number 250001 could be on a number of parts as they did not match the hull number. Perhaps some Tiger grog will emerge..
