antaress73
I was wondering, Panzerldr said that javelin was difficult to cope with for the russians. The heavy ECM environment, IR and thermal blocking smoke (which was not in CMSF), and some IR and thermal signature reduction kits would not significantly refuce their effectiveness ? Playing as russians would not be a problem for me... i've been able to cope with the javelin in CMSF as the syrians pretty effectively... but playing as the US against the russians, I dont want it to be TOO easy when my infantry devastates an advancing force in the first 5 mins. I play against the AI btw.. I'm not sure about my proficiency against a seasoned human opponent.
agusto
I think there is IR blocking smoke in CMSF. The Syrians have it.

MikeyD
I'm not 100% positive - they may have added the 30 second spool-up time that it takes to launch a (real life) Javelin. A lot of stuff can happen in 30 seconds of gametime.
