Interesting that it mentions no diciplinary actions towards the officers that they were so desperately protesting against.

Despite them having (apparantly) acted in a conduct unbecoming an officer at least once.

But this is pretty typical of many military institutions.

The men get the blame and the officers get a slap on the fingers, at most.

Sink did the absolute right thing there. We had a similar situation once with an officer that had risen above his level of competence. It took a combination of tact and standing up for what's right to have him removed. But in the end it was best for all.
