Holman Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 I am probably going to be buying a new PC soon, and I'll be going through my wife's employer (good deals there). This means that it will be a stock Dell machine, and there is probably no way to avoid going with Windows 8. Are there any problems running CMx2 with Windows 8? BFCElvis Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 I have two problems with Windows 8. Neither is a huge deal. I can't "alt-tab" out of the game. I can do it with ctrl-alt-del and get out with Task Master though. I can alt-tab from the splash screen. The other is that I still haven't been able to take in game screen shots. Oddball_E8 Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 I have been using CMx2 on my work laptop for a while now, and besides the laptop not being powerful enough to run the game without it lagging a bit, I have had no problems using it on a Win 8 system.
