Fed
I cannot figure out why a sniper I have is not firing on a targeted unit (an open tank) that they can see. Any ideas?
womble
What range? They aren't snakeater sniper scouts, and they don't have Barret Light 50s for click and a half headshots. Sometimes it seems like the team can target (because it's an infantry team and the spotter has LOF) but because the range is longer than the spotter's weapon will reach, and the marksman doesn't have LOS, no firing occurs.
Baneman
There could be some foliage in the way - check their Level 1 view with Trees turned On. They may be able to see you through the branches/leaves, but it's not a good enough spot for a shot. Infantry often wont shoot when the ground rises very close to the LoF - they get blue targeting lines and everything, but I guess they decide it's too low a percentage shot. See if the targeting line goes close to "through" the ground anywhere along the line (someone asked for the targeting lines to be visible above ground all the time in the "New Features" thread in CMFI forum - this "indicator" of the ground position is why I hope they don't ).
Fed
There is no tree in between us, no hill either. It must just be the range. What is the range for snipers in CM2?

Vanir Ausf B
What is the range for snipers in CM2? From this test I'm guessing 700 to 800 meters. http://www.battlefront.com/community/showpost.php?p=1306604&postcount=11
