Clausewitz
Under Editor Changes is there a maximum to Chinese 10 MPPs increase per turn?
Strategiclayabout
Hello Clausewitz, - Not sure, perhaps it means offmap MPPs bonus = 10 each turn not cumulative: Turn 1: China MPPs +10 Turn 2: China MPPs +10 and not: Turn 1: China MPPs +10 Turn 2: China MPPs +20 (like having one more city but those 10 MPPs will always be available unless China surrenders)
Hubert Cater
Gentlemen, It just means that whatever they were collecting under v1.00 and v1.01 will now see them collect at least 10 MPP extra per turn under v1.02. This is just due to an extra resource they have been given. I hope this helps! Hubert

huhr
What do you guys do in the pacific at the beginning of the war?
SeaMonkey
Hey huhr, nice to hear from you again, welcome back! In the Pac., if you're the Axis, China is a decent focus, but prepare to take the SRA and then its kind of open, dependent upon USA. As Allies, you're pretty much into containment mode, most likely won't be able to do much until 43, perhaps a jab or two. Allies primary directive is Europe, Africa and the fringes of the German-Italian Empire, Pac is a sideline.
Strategiclayabout
@ huhr ^^ : As Japan: - You can go Indonesia/India or Pacific/Australia but either way, it's probably wise to clear the US islands (Guam and Wake + Midway if you can) as buffer and Philippines/Manilla is needed to secure your convoy sealanes. - You can attack Hawai but it requires some amphibious planning. - Honk-Kong, Thailand and Brunei are easy to take and give ressources + Plunder so go for it. - DEI gives a lot of MPPs but takes time to get back to full capacity so try to take it early. - Singapore allows to block/control the western naval door of your empire. - Burma has some oil and a great land defensive position near India's border with a lot of tropical hills. - Nauru-Rabaul-Solomons can provide some ressources and a southern defense line (+ possibly Lae / Port Moresby). Strategiclayabout
Forgot to say you can attack Indochina and Thailand without too much increase in USA mobilization % but for the others, better be ready to face USN !
