YankeeDog Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 I don't think the "scout" teams that you get via the Split Team command from a bog-standard U.S. Infantry squad should really be thought off as a true recon scout team. These 2-man scout teams are just two privates with rifles. They're more like bait than a true, trained forward recon/OP team that would be carry binocs and/or scopes. If you want a true OP team, IIRC there's an independent recon team that gives you a 3-man team with both binoculars and a scoped rifle -- this would be more representative of a recon scout/forward OP team. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
