xian
I have noticed that any holes in the bocage are repaired between campaign missions. Is this standard for CMBN or is it the choice of the scenario designer?
ASL Veteran
I have noticed that any holes in the bocage are repaired between campaign missions. Is this standard for CMBN or is it the choice of the scenario designer? Nothing is repaired between missions. The maps are entirely independent of each other and no damage in one mission is carried over to the next.
xian
Okay - thanks for that. Not sure that this system will always result in the most realistic outcome for campaigns.
Sgt Schultz
If you want persistant damage in a campaign-like setting, then the only work-around is a 4 hour battle, with reinforcements coming in at 45-60 minute intervals. I have one in progress.... stay tuned.

Sgt Schultz
If you have CMBB, then download my battle "Meatgrinder" from The Proving Grounds. It is a re-imagining of that battle with CMBN forces. The attackers must cross water(river/swamp), then forge on through fields and hamlets to an increasingly urban environment. Think of it as Tappas for CM... you get to sample a lot of different tactical problems as you grind my map to powder.
