Thomm
Having a couple of old PC games sitting on the shelve uselessly (Half Live, Unreal, Doom III, Brothers in Arms, ...) I keep wondering if there is any way to get rid of these things without going to a flea market or throwing them away. Any ideas? Same goes for VCR tapes, and old DVDs. Best regards, Thomm
Thomm
Hmmm. Games like Half Life seem to actually sell on Ebay! Who buys this stuff????! Best regards, Thomm
Michael Emrys
Who buys this stuff????! Collectors, for one. People collect the most improbable stuff. And old games are not necessarily that improbable, since some people retain hardware and an OS that will still run them. They do that because they have a particular liking for some of the older games. Michael

Michael Emrys
I have it on good authority that Michael still plays CIVILISATION I on his Commodore 64! You should find that authority and commit grievous bodily harm upon him. He is not reliable. I do not and never did own a Commodore 64. Was never even tempted in fact. Michael Emrys
That's because you were too busy playing with your Exidy Sorcerer. Huh? What's that? To tell the truth, in those far-off days I was still busy playing cardboard and paper boardgames. Michael
-E
I actually do still play wargames on my Apple II from time to time (granted, I get no time for watching movies like someone waiting for a commie 64 to actually load a program).

Doug Williams
I suppose it shows how ancient I truly am that I stand amazed at how Thomm called Doom III an "old game". Seriously? Ultima 1, Zork, Pool of Radiance (SSI gold box)....those are old computer games. Get off my lawn.
