  1. Yes, after the war started more were delivered, but we don't know to which units for certain.
  2. This was not completed as of September 2021. At that time only 27 MRB (1 TA) had it. https://gurkhan.blogspot.com/2021/09/c-2021.html
  3. Before the war, the only unit known to have T-90Ms was the 27th Motor Rifle Brigade.
  4. He's good for a news summary, but the problem as I've mentioned before in this forum is that he's not a military person or expert (he's an airline pilot), so take his military analysis with some salt. Good presentation on UASes at war
  5. Could be, could also be the battle management system interface.
  6. This concerns me a little. That offensive is called the 'Rzhev meat grinder' for a reason.
  7. Yeah, so they've stockpiled a fair amount there. Although all this stuff is relatively light weapons/ammunition, no idea about heavy artillery ammunition.
  8. https://wartranslated.com/update-from-ukrainian-military-expert-oleg-zhdanov-29-august/
  9. I don't think Shoigu was ever a threat to Putin as a non-ethnic Russian. Shoigu has no military experience (neither does Putin for that matter) so I think Putin just feels confident enough to just bypass him, especially given the failures.
  10. If they kill one, two more shall take its place.
  11. If this turns into a rout, the only shame is that it's not winter so the Russians won't experience their own Berezina.
  12. There's nowhere else to move them to other than improvised fields with no infrastructure.
  13. Four belonging to 92 OMBr were shown in the 2021 Independence Day parade, at least one was verified destroyed in Kharkiv by artillery back in March at the tank training school. In 2021 it was reported that a full company of T-64BM2s was to be created (which would be 13 tanks including the company commander tank), but no idea how far they got with that before the war. It's the most capable tank in the Ukrainian army besides the Oplot-M (which never really entered full service).
  14. That you can have spineless surrender monkeys like this in relatively prominent academic positions is remarkable to me. You can either help Ukraine fight this war to a conclusion today or let your children and grandchildren fight Russia in 20 years' time.
  15. Probably good that there aren't too many of them
  16. The Saudis are forced to align with the US because they do not want the US to ever have any rapprochement with the Iranians and no one in the Arab world actually respects the Saudis enough to actually allow them to be the Arab world leader.
  17. I guess there's probably a big "tax" from corruption...
  18. I think Kamil Galeev was saying a few months ago that the military is on the lowest rung in terms of power in the Russian state hierarchy, so they're mostly castrated and subservient to Moscow.
  19. Good field AD like MANPADS is more expensive than Orlan-10, though.
  20. I think this is the next best thing to giving Ukraine enough artillery, though I wonder how effective this is against Orlan-10.
