First published list of Russian PoWs that I know of.  It came from someone in the Ukraine Ministry of Internal Affairs.  Roughly 200 at a quick glance.  Intention of this is to get Russians to recognize names and start to make waves within Russia.  Last page includes contact information to call Ukraine and find out if someone is in their custody.

The posting included some more details (p.s. "Cargo 200" is Russia's code for transporting dead service personnel):

Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War here:

    https://www.ohchr.org/EN/ProfessionalInterest/Pages/TreatmentOfPrisonersOfWar.aspx

    but who cares ?

    Article 13

"Likewise, prisoners of war must at all times be protected, (...) against (...) public curiosity."

    explanation by lawyers :

"Due to recent technological advances, the commentaries to the Third Geneva Convention specify that protection against public curiosity is defined by the prohibition of the disclosure of photographic and video images, recordings of interrogations or conversations as well as any other private data, regardless of the public communication channel used, including the Internet (at p. 1624). The disclosure of these images is often defended as allowing proof that these prisoners are alive and providing a guarantee against their extrajudicial execution, their enforced disappearance or, as specified by Ukrainian diplomats, as making it possible to be able to identify them. However, the Third Geneva Convention provides for specific mechanisms such as capture cards (Article 70) and visits by the International Committee of the Red Cross (Articles 125 and 126). The parties to the conflict should therefore refrain from disseminating any material exposing them to public knowledge."

  2. That 's work again! thank you, you are the best !

After checking the other tanks, the last one with the same problem is the ShermanII :

    Sherman II

The French helmet is badly positioned on the head. I drew in the attached image the desired position. I have Blender and I followed your instructions, given in other posts, to manipulate mdr files but I don't know how to go about it.

  3. Thank a lot for your quick answer and testing.

I didn't give an order, the bradley turned his turret by himself to fire his gun at a BMP, the hull of the tank didn't move. It is on a slope. In the following turns, the launcher remains away from the turret even after having changed position. The other Bradleys don't have this problem. This is the first scenario of the Task Force 3 campaign. Version 2.16 engine 4. I replayed before the turn which is before the one where the problem occurs. Fortunately the tank is in the same waiting position. When the target arrives, the turret turns and the hull 1 second later aligns itself, the launcher stays in place this time. So the problem is punctual and seems to manifest itself when the turret turns towards the threat but not the hull.

So I'm currently making my way through the Semper Fi, Syria! Campaign for the Marines. I'm playing the scenario "Flirting with Disaster" and I'm getting the feeling that something is not working since I'm not getting any reinforcements that were mentioned in the briefing.

I have the same problem as Growler 2.0 on the same scenario. No reinforcements and the campaign automatically ended because my only units present, 4 humvees, were destroyed with their crew (massive syrian armor attack). Abrams were planned and I hadn't lost any tanks in previous scenarios. Moreover no air support, nor artillery yet  mentioned in the briefing. Curiously the Syrian artillery was coming from my side.

  5. Yes you are right about the "mod" folder which I confused with the "mod tools" folder, sorry. I also noticed that the portraits are few because they are restricted to the army branches( usa: Infantry Brigade, Stryker Brigade, Armored Brigade. Russian: Motor Rifle Brigade, Tank Brigade).

  6. Thank you.

You must create a "Z" folder in the game's "data" file where you can drop the ".bmp" files (except the .jpeg pict). This is standard procedure for all other mods. The "mod" folder of the game contains the tools to compress bmp and other mods in ".brz" file or open the original ".brz" files and those of the modders

I also did the mod portraits for CMBN (all module) and FB (the links are in the relevant forum).

  7. Thank you for your answers.

I think indeed that the engine of the game considers that the team is divided into 2 groups as if I had used the order "split" the team.
The vehicle seems to be waiting for the rest of the group whose icon remains gray, the group's icon indeed has this aspect when the men embark normally.

I have already encountered this problem in CMBN with a immobilized truck because the incoming group had been hit on their way forward by tank fire.
I would bring the group back out of the truck, the truck could then react to orders but when I got the group back into the truck then it no longer responded to orders.
Again, the battle group icon remained gray inside the vehicle.
In the CMSF2 situation I could get the marines out of the vehicle to treat the others and fix this problem. I couldn't test the solution
because I didn't save the tour.

I replayed the turn: this time only one marines were injured, and the others got on board. No problem, the rear hatch closes, the group icon is no longer gray and the vehicle responds to orders.

The problem is that this bug would force me to take unnecessary risks, as the area is under artillery fire (81mm or more), the group was mounted in the AAV-7 for its protection. If the group comes out to treat the victims they will be killed. If I wait for the end of the artillery fire so that they can help their comrade, or simply take control of the vehicle, it is the vehicle itself that risks becoming a target for RPG and other Syrian vehicles. In addition, the rear hatch remaining open, it is possible that the 3 marines inside are no longer sheltered.
In any case, the situation describes a programming bug.
CMSF2 is a roll royce of simulation, this little problem has no right to exist at such a level of excellence
