  1. 2 possible errors:

    - Transarence layer of houses. This is a problem that I encounter from time to time, especially in BS. PBEM - Two soldiers take refuge in a small outbuilding but the building doesn't become transparent. This group escapes my attention until they come under panzer fire (I wouldn't have left them there if I had seen them). Meanwhile, transparency works normally for other battle groups occupying houses. Same problem encountered more often in Black Sea (usually small one-story house).

    - In another PBEM, a remnant of infantry mounted on a T34. One of my teams took down all the members of a mounted squad, except for an officer who, despite the precise shots with an MG42 for more than 30 seconds, did not flinch. On the next lap, the T34/85 pulled away with the invincible survivor thus escaping his fate.

    Need help for the AT 6 Pdr MK2.

    The mod doesn't appear in the game. The modifications made with the original file, or from the work of Aris for CMBN, give the same result: the 3d model disappears (shadow on the ground still there), or sometimes the game replaces the selected gun with the 6 Pdr M4. The AT sometimes appears with its original texture next to the same gun that has disappeared from it (image attached). This gun is also the US AT 57 mm M1, maybe a conflict between these 2 models ? I'm stuck with this gun. The bmp snow is included in the zip file anyway ...

    I am not satisfied about the english scout car: the white stripes of the door are saturated and generate a shiny effect.

    So a link to a version without the painted stripes to avoid this effect (still there a little bit🙁)

    The "snow" mods for BF work on FI but only the 3 American tanks that share their 3D design with the French tanks must have their bmp tagged only with "mainland" and "snow" no need "us". For example with the American M10 the hull must be named: "m10-hull [mainland snow]" (the turret is already ok).

    Only the Sherman US M4a3 76w mid and the Sherman US M4 mid don't have snow textures. I'm working on it. For the "Morts aux cons/dead to idiots" scenario, all vehicles, German and French, have their own snow textures.

    Yes I worked on the French vehicles because I am playing the scenario "Mort aux cons!" by pbem 🙂It's not as good as what Umlaut and Aris do but it's better than nothing ...

    I tried all possible combinations with the naming schemata: with or without "mainland", with or without "snow"= failure. Of course I never touched the 3D .mdr.

    I also renamed the Aris mod "white scout car" .bmp file (it is the same 3D design as the M3a1) with the original French "scout car" name: failure. It seems that it is impossible to change the textures of this vehicle.

    If you have the game, you can watch the contents of the original 201a.brz folder "White_scout_car". It only contains one MDR file "white-scout-car_us" and 2 .bmp exactly the same "white-scout-car_us-hull [french]" and nothing else. Would the two ".bmp" twins prevent the game from choosing one of the .bmp? 🤔

    I just noticed while doing all these tests that my snow texture appears fleetingly just after loading the scenario, a second or two, then the vehicle returns to its original appearance. Weird🤖

  6. I started to winterized the french M3A1 scout car. But the generated file .bmp doesn't appear in the game (parameters: december 1943- snow- Italy). The original folder is in the "210a.brz". It includes a .MDR file and 2 files with the same title, "white-scout-car_us-hull [french]" and format. So I can't continue this work because I don't know how to make the game recognize it. Need help.

    Yes, sorry for the confusion, the attached pict made believe that the problem was in the red square. So, it is the color of the lawn texture 😱 It's so flashy! I don't understand this bad taste when all the other terrain textures in the game have a good harmony of colors. I generally only use terrain mods for CMBN (and winter for CMRT), with all other opus looking fine to me. I found the location of this texture in "v100a.brz". and made a mod. I reused the original color of the "groung grass.bmp":

  8. Yes the green color is still there with "alt J" (objective) off. The  objective area is only inside the red square, the church. This is the first time I have encountered this problem, never seen on other maps. I went to the editor to put all the possible terrain of cmbs and this texture does'nt appear. I restart computer, still there... I don't understand where it comes from   ...
