I don't know if it's normal that the last round, with the final blackboard of results, remains in the pbem progress folder for a few days, in fact it's not a round that I send, my opponent has already its results table. My last CW round with results has been on my file for a week, and currently my last BN round with results has been on my file for a day or 2.

  2. Game over, tough battle, thank you @Andrew Kulin for this epic and thrilling battle (lawran in the tournament). We achieved approximately the same results on both sides. Towards the end, we took huge risks with big losses, of my 3 tanks launched to attack an objective during the last turn, only one survived, and if the game had lasted one more turn it would also have joined the tank cemetery.

    However, I will send you an injunction from the international tribunal for war crimes: article 23 of the regulations concerning the laws and customs of war on land (The Hague/ La Haye, July 29, 1899 -1907): "it is prohibited to use unduly military insignia and uniform of the enemy. The Hague court will certainly follow my recommendations and sentence you to 20 years of ban from playing CMCW.

Last year Steve spoke on a radio show about the possibility of producing titles on the 2nd World War in the Pacific, or Korea and Vietnam: the main problem with these theaters of operation in Asia is the modeling of the terrain, with dense vegetation that would be a challenge to the game engine. They would need an application like speedtree to properly handle this aspect, an expensive application out of reach. It looks like CMx2 won't be able to do this.

  4. The majority is based on Aris mods (I found a mod for the Nashorn in the mega mod "Berlin", but I don't know the author). The rest is based on the original textures from BF.c. Some snow textures and the King Tiger's snowy tracks have been added since the screenshot. I'll make some improvements before asking Bootie to host this folder.

  5. I have a problem with my winter mod of the BA 64b (the BA 64 also exists in a "late" version with which I have no problem). I'm quickly making a winter mod based on Aris' work. The wheels of this vehicle appear and disappear depending on the year and geographic area specified in the scenario editor. The wheels are only present in Germany in 1945 😧 In 1944 the wheels are present in the 3 zones of the editor: Germany, Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. For example, the wheels don't appear in the 1st and 2nd scenarios of the "To Berlin" campaign.

    I redid the winter bmp textures for around 40 RT armored vehicles, axes and allies, and only the wheels of the BA 64 remain a problem (I'll drop all that here tomorrow). I duplicated the bmp wheel file with all possible tags: berlin snow, gemany snow, snow, whitewash snow, whitewash. The original Aris wheels (I only use his mods with the mud conditions specified in the scenario) are present in all areas in 44 and 45.

  6. I went to the wrong forum, I was talking about the CW tournament. In any case it's the same in the 3 games, reinforcements arrive at half time (my perception as a losing player: I always have the impression that my opponent receives more reinforcements than me, with better optics, a better sales for its men, prettier uniforms etc...).

    The battles are brutal in all 3 tournaments, and really difficult. I registered for 3 tournaments and I'm lucky, since the 1st round I was able to finish all the battles on time, except for the 2nd round of CW, frustrating because the scenario was very good (nice map, variety of units), my opponent started to send me his turns in the last week.

    In previous tournaments SF2, CW, I had a lot of ghost players.

    The game is well advanced on RT, we obtain almost the same tactical result: the church resists and our 2 wings are blocked, no breakthrough.

  7. I forgot to note in the list that my Brummbar late is also in the folder "Winter Textures for German Armour".

    I also forgot to put an image of the Wespe with the others, but ok, it is in the same folder.

     

    If RT and FB are also missing some vehicles with their winter textures, you can import them from FI or between them.

    If you notice in FI that vehicles with winter textures are missing, let me know here or by DM.

  8. SDKFZ 16 Flame snowy.

    The body and interior of the Sdkfz 251-16 are those of the SKfz 251-1D. So I imported Umlaut's excellent work. I only worked on the 2 flamethrowers and their pipes.

    I believe that the German vehicles in the snow file is finished because the rest of the vehicles already have their textures. Not all vehicles appear in FI in winter. I'm going to check BF and RT to see if there are any missing but I think not. Importing textures from other titles into FI is a bit boring because you have to look for them one by one in the data folders (for example all SPW, Grid, Hummel etc...). I'll do that soon to put them in a file at Bootie's.
