  1. Evaluating different approaches to markings. Numbering all vehicles is a bit out of grasp, since you really need to get into tens of numbers to make a difference.
  2. Dropbox it is then. ENJOY
  3. Any other site you'd recommend?
  4. Hmm, don't know, the file name is RA-regulation standard.rar and I can download it from the link. Just make sure you press the small download button, not the big one .
  5. Release 1: Russian Army regulation standard coloring. DOWNLOAD Next in line: to get crazy with numbers and markings.
  6. Probably engaged through the triplex using capitalism super-magic aiming cheat killing the driver. That said, what was the distance?
  7. Check Mate I'll polish and release over the weekend.
  8. How many copies/variations would you make as "best practice" of sorts to fit all scales of scenarios?
  9. Cool, got it. This is something that I definitely do after I get all vehicles looking right.
  10. The downside is bloating up the DL size. Hmm. If I go like bmp2-hull001 bmp2-skirts001 bmp2-hull002 bmp2-skirts002 then texture packages would be displayed in order together?
  11. Tell me more! I was definitely planning to add tactical markings, but I wanted to skip numbers. There are currently more fundamental flaws I have to correct first (like that damn MT-LB line being way too bright), but proper numbering is something I almost certainly would like to implement.
  12. I don't like putting ETA's on personal projects, but I think I'll finish the BTR and BRDM series by the end of this week with initial release. I'm currently taking time to consolidate and get some finer details right:
  13. Ah, in that case, that's minimum guaranteed penetration , I think that's how Fofanov states his numbers.
  14. 5KM ranges were intended for hovering helicopter type of target AFAIK, where if you hit a blob its likely a mission kill. Besides, extra range never is a bad thing for that once in a blue moon type of situations where a 4+km LOS can be found.
  15. Mmm, looking at the files, its just an entirely separate set of textures! Milita DLC confirmed?
  16. Almost done, BMP-1 and BTR series left. Also, fun fact, according to game files there is a BMP-1P available to the Russian army .
  17. I'm interested where does the 730mm at 0 at 2km number comes from.
  18. Reportedly Nozh and Duplet don't really work as well as once advertised.
  19. Alright. This was just a quick upload anyways, for the release I'll definitely compile something more D/L friendly.
  20. Alright, for testing purposes: T-72/90 tanks- DOWNLOAD Soft-skin vehicles- DOWNLOAD BMP-3 series- DOWNLOAD MT-LB series- DOWNLOAD Sorry it's not compressed, a bit of an oversight of mine. BMP-3 and MT-LB files are a bit heavier, but give them a try if you wish. I am mostly satisfied with how these vehicles look with some toning and tweaking left to do.
  21. B3M adds drive-train OS alike the one on BTR-MDM/BMD-4M. I've got no knowledge on FCS improvements, but in terms of protection, slapping Relikt on instead of Kontact is a bit like APS for M1's. The tech is readily available, but there isn't a particular drive to field it in large amounts.
  22. There are genuine russian produced thermal matrices with resolutions well into what current NATO standart demands, however they are not retrofitted to current T-72B3/90A fleet due to costs of production. MoD's dissatisfaction with B3 upgrade is a little like complaining that cheap detergent doesn't compare to expensive detergent in its washing capabilities. T-72B3M demonstrates what could have been done, but wasn't paid for. I don't get this whole T-90A vs M1A2 SEP v2 debate. One for one, it's finest mid-late 90's tech vs finest late 00's tech money can buy. What does feel underperforming though is the armoring on the T-90's, which I think some of the videos of lateral .50 cal penetrations demonstrated on this board.
  23. Taking a bit of a break.
